• Scrolli is grounded in factual reporting. Claims of uncertain veracity have no place in our next-generation journalism. Facts are presented to readers as they are, supported by evidence, treated fairly, and verified.
• The decision that an event or subject is newsworthy rests solely with Scrolli's editorial team and editor-in-chief.
• Scrolli maintains impartiality and equal distance in its relationships with news stakeholders. Sources of personal gain, political allegiance, and partisan positions are excluded from the reporting process.
• Scrolli's journalism is built on making sense of events and facts, rather than reporting them first. We therefore focus on slow journalism and verified information.
• Across its platform and social channels, Scrolli makes considered use of new technologies for presenting journalism. Storytelling is a tool for strengthening reporting and is never used in a way that obscures objective reality. Separate guidance defines our principles for artificial intelligence and technology products.
• Scrolli's journalism is strictly separated from sponsored content and advertising through distinct teams and organisational structures. Sponsorship and advertising follow their own principles.
• Scrolli respects the privacy of personal life. Hidden cameras, recordings made without permission, the disclosure of concealed identities, and similar practices are excluded from reporting unless an exceptional public-interest case applies.
• Terrorism, violence, hate speech, and discrimination have no place in Scrolli's journalism. Language that amplifies hatred or discrimination based on national identity, religion, ethnicity, or gender, or that demeans disadvantaged groups, is prohibited. Human dignity is considered throughout reporting conducted in the public interest.
• Scrolli observes democratic legal principles. Its reporting does not include elements that could undermine the rule of law or democratic activity.
• Scrolli applies the highest level of editorial care when people under 18 or children are directly involved in a story. Clear warnings appear at the start of material that may adversely affect children. The full names and photographs of people under 18 are not published, and no child may be used as a source without permission from an authorised parent or guardian.
• When a published story changes in light of current developments, it is updated and republished using new evidence and sources. Beyond minor corrections, changes that alter the substance or context of a story are added with a visible editorial note.
• If an error in a Scrolli story affects a person or organisation, an apology is published alongside the correction. Depending on the nature of the error, the apology may also be shared through Scrolli's social channels. Where a formal legal correction request is received, the applicable right-of-reply policy is followed. A correction is published and, where required, the story or content is removed.
• Where access to a Scrolli story is blocked through Türkiye's Information and Communication Technologies Authority, the decision is presented to readers under the same headline together with the relevant court order.
• These principles are essential to maintaining trust and impartiality in Scrolli's reporting and publishing. Their purpose is to treat readers, sources, and the subjects of stories fairly and openly, preserve accuracy and integrity, and strengthen Scrolli's standing in society.

• Beyond its journalism, Scrolli operates as Scrolli Medya Anonim Şirketi, a media company providing a broad range of publishing services. Its revenue exists to sustain Scrolli's work and preserve the independence of its next-generation journalism.
• Scrolli's revenue comes from sponsored content and advertising partnerships, subscriptions, sponsored events, next-generation journalism projects with external partners, technology product sales, investment, and grants.
• Advertising and sponsored content are managed separately from the newsroom by ScrolliCollabs, Scrolli's brand studio, with distinct teams and organisational structures.
• Relationships arising from Scrolli's revenue sources are structured to prevent commercial interests, partisanship, or influence from affecting its journalism. Relationships with advertisers are represented only by the brand studio.
• Scrolli does not focus on programmatic advertising or automated listings on its platform. ScrolliCollabs does not offer advertising or sponsorship partnerships that exclude creative editorial and design work.
• Scrolli clearly separates advertising from journalism. Sponsored content created for brands by ScrolliCollabs is visibly labelled "Sponsored" on the Scrolli platform and social channels. The name and logo of the partner brand are always disclosed in the content or its description.
• ScrolliCollabs also works as a creative content agency for work published beyond Scrolli's own platform. External publishing partnerships are assessed for alignment with Scrolli's corporate values and ethical principles.
• Through ScrolliCollabs, Scrolli does not enter sponsorship or advertising partnerships for campaigns and promotions in health, law, or politics. ScrolliCollabs reserves the right to end advertiser relationships where ethical concerns arise.
• ScrolliCollabs is responsible for every piece of content, publication schedule, and related process created through sponsored content and advertising relationships.
• ScrolliCollabs communicates directly with the relevant advertiser or media-buying agency. It does not conduct the process through parties with no connection to the brand or agency.
• To maintain minimum standards of care in production, ScrolliCollabs first asks the advertiser or agency for a detailed campaign or promotion brief, guidance, and visual materials.
• In brand partnerships, ScrolliCollabs gives priority to the brand, its identity and mission, and the subject of the campaign. Strategies concerning a sustainable economy, equal opportunity, social benefit, and innovation form part of this assessment.

• Scrolli's corporate strategy recognises artificial intelligence as central to next-generation media. It explores how AI can be integrated into production across innovation, media, and culture. These principles are framed accordingly.
• The use of artificial intelligence in Scrolli's journalism always involves human participation. Stories and content prepared with AI output undergo additional editing and editorial review before publication. Final decisions and the accurate presentation of objective reality remain human responsibilities.
• Where tools, materials, content, or branding are produced with AI support, that support is clearly disclosed. Sources used in creating the content are presented to readers with transparency and care.
• All branding, development, and business model rights relating to Alara AI, designed to support Scrolli's journalism and community experience, belong to Scrolli Medya Anonim Şirketi.
• The integrity and accuracy of data and sources used by AI tools in journalism are reviewed carefully. In generative AI use, the coherence and integrity of datasets are checked by people.
• People working with AI at Scrolli are expected to have an appropriate baseline of training. Those directly responsible for AI use are assessed for relevant skills and qualifications. Where needed, training is provided to support ethical practice.
• Output created with generative AI is reviewed with the greatest care. Material involving hate speech, violence, terrorism, or discrimination is not used in any story or content.
• Scrolli uses AI to improve the originality, quality, automation, and speed of reporting, team management, and strategic work.
• Scrolli works proactively with external partners, academia, and industry specialists on AI training, business development, and ecosystem building. Industry partnerships may also be considered in a research context.
• Pilot projects and prototypes created by Scrolli's product team may be tested within the platform and sold commercially to external organisations. These experiments reflect the company's culture of learning and protect the public interest.
